St. Alban's Anglican
Church
is a friendly, traditional church that is grounded in the unchanging
Faith; it is a sacramental church that understands that the liturgy
and hymns transcend the generations; and it is a church that is not
entertainment or marketing based. St. Alban's may be the church
you've been looking for. We invite you to come visit us!
St.
Alban is the first British martyr and is traditionally associated with
the Diocletianic persecutions (c.305). Born a pagan in Hertfordshire,
he was converted and baptized by a priest to whom he had offered
shelter. When the governor sent soldiers to search his house, he
disguised himself in the priest's cloak, was arrested and condemned to
martyrdom. His shrine still stands in St. Alban's Abbey.
